Customer Service Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative for one of our Clients in Northwest Houston. The CSR will serve as the primary point of contact between our clients, warehouse staff, and carriers to ensure accurate, timely, and professional handling of all customer service inquiries related to order processing, inventory, and shipment tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison between customers and the operations team regarding order status, shipping updates, and inventory questions.
- Manage inbound and outbound communications (email, phone, and ticketing systems) with clients and vendors.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and in a timely manner
- Resolve delivery issues, including delays, damaged goods, and tracking discrepancies, by coordinating with warehouse staff and logistics partners.
- Monitor and update order statuses, shipping confirmations, and inventory records to ensure visibility and transparency for customers.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
- Identify trends in customer inquiries or complaints and collaborate with operations and account teams to drive improvements.
- Support warehouse and fulfillment staff with documentation and system input to ensure order accuracy and smooth handoff.
Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience in customer service, ideally in logistics, fulfillment, shipping, or eCommerce environment.
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment workflows, shipping processes, and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Must be willing to agree to a background check and drug screen pursuant to local, state and federal rule.
